Groasis

Recommended by the Netherlands Consulate, to establish a Dutch sustainability brand for the United States market. We developed vertical programs with the U.S. government, agriculture, and education for mass media appeal.

The Challenge

Groasis, a Dutch innovation company, was entering the U.S. with a bold goal: help solve global water scarcity through sustainable agriculture tech. But they were unknown, underfunded, and needed more than a PR campaign. They needed a story the world could rally around.

Our Strategy

Rebranding Groasis as Waterboxx, we didn’t just launch a product, we launched a movement. Groasis’ mission touched four pillars of public influence: Government, Education, Agriculture and Media. Campaigns were developed and implemented to activate each one.

Government

We created a public-private partnership strategy, positioning Groasis as a conservation solution to state and national agencies. Our work established conversations with policymakers makers for Waterboxx implementation for regrowth of damaged land.

Education

We built an experiential educational environmental curriculum using Groasis’ product as a teaching tool. Introduced in California, to middle school students, who learned the science of photosynthesis through a hands-on Waterboxx conservation program. Groasis still teaches this around the world today.

Agriculture

By partnering with Groasis, world renowned wineries and forward-thinking growers, we taught them how the Waterboxx could lead the way in new agricultural sustainability.

Media

We shaped the brand’s story, developed all marketing materials, and designed a traveling exhibit explaining how the Waterboxx worked for reforestation. It was seen in cities throughout California eventually donated to Joshua Tree National Park where it remains today.

The Results

Groasis went from unknown to unforgettable. The campaign earned international recognition, won the Popular Science Innovation Award, and helped turn a small Dutch startup into a symbol of real-world climate action.
