Michele Kelly / founder

"it's true, what we do isn't brain surgery, but let's face it, a brain surgeon couldn't do this job either."

Michele's heritage set the stage. Her family were the founding members of both the San Francisco Opera and Symphony. In pursuit of her interest in writing for the arts, she attended undergraduate school at the University of California, Berkeley, the Royal Academy for the Dramatic Arts, London, and Mills College, Oakland. Prior to co-founding kf!g in 1993 she was a columnist for San Francisco Magazine and co-developed the Nob Hill Gazette. In addition, Michele was an executive producer and an on-air talent for ABC, Viacom and Chris Whittle Productions.

Understanding the press from the other side of the desk, Michele has the unique advantage-point of knowing what works for television and print and what ends up in the basket.

Michele's creative marketing/public relations programs for local, national and international clients have resulted in many awards. As a successful professional she has been featured in the San Francisco Business Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal, Marin Sonoma Business Times and Bay Area Business Woman. In addition, she has been a frequent media expert on ABC, CBS, NBC and KCBS News in San Francicso.(top)

Ed Fogelman / co-founder

what do einstein, marco polo, michaelangelo, and Ed have in common? .....stuff!

Ed knows his stuff. He adds 20 years of business, financial, and marketing communications experience to kf!g. As Senior Vice President of Landor Associates, an international graphic design firm, Ed successfully developed worldwide recognition for his company and increased geographical market share during his seventeen year tenure. He was also responsible for global strategic financial planning which included the opening of foreign offices in Europe, Latin and South America, and the Far East.

Prior to co-founding kf!g, Ed's management consulting company, provided it's clients with both operational and marketing communication services. the latter included evaluation of competitor communications and development of client marketing objectives, new corporate and master brand graphics for greater market penetration and design of marketing materials.

With his unique understanding for the visual impact of marketing campaigns, he is instrumental in developing strategies, creating releases, the "packaging" of all press material, and coordinating kf!g's reputation development programs.

Ed earned his B.A. degree from the University of Colorado, received his CPA license in California, and served as an operational consultant with Deloitte-Touche, prior to developing Landor.(top)

Nicole Glenn / sr. account executive

"looking for copy in all the wrong places? well then, you haven't seen mine!"

As an account executive, Nicole contributes to the conception and implementation of innovative marketing ideas, promotional media campaigns and event production. Nicole has been involved in the media industry for over nine years. She received a B.A. degree in broadcast journalism from San Francisco State University.

After graduation, Nicole worked for SOMA Magazine as a writer, account executive and director of promotions. At SOMA she developed her fundraising and promotional skills, executing successful events for both the Tenderloin AIDS Resource Center and the Shanti Project. Later she was an account executive for KKHI, where she wrote and produced commercials. Nicole brings to kf!g her strong creative writing, promotional skills and event production experience. Her background in radio copy and experience as a magazine journalist allows her to have the ability to write clever copy under fire. She is comfortable with meeting tough deadlines while serving as senior account executive and creative writer. (top)

Susanne Klubien / project director

Susanne Klubien is a master of multi-tasking due to her diverse background. With her degree in Business Engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen and her years of experience in product and business development for two Danish companies, she is a whiz at managing the many aspects of kf!g's client needs.

Always the energtic team player, she has contributed her fierce dedication, coolheadedness in crisis, and "analytical" skills to such clients as International Art Expo, eBay, Omni San Francisco Hotel, and Ex'pression Center for New Media .(top)
